About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our client, a growing health tech company at the forefront of digital healthcare. In this role, you’ll develop innovative solutions that enhance patient care and optimise healthcare services. Working alongside a talented technical team, you’ll help build high-quality software while ensuring seamless system integration, security and compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, healthcare experts and other key stakeholders.
- Develop front-end and back-end components using modern web technologies.
- Ensure high-performance, responsive, and secure application architectures.
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to technical decisions.
- Integrate healthcare systems while ensuring data privacy and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
We understand that developers come from many different backgrounds, and ticking every single box isn’t the main point. What matters most is a strong foundation in full stack development, a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
- A BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React.js, Vue.js, Angular).
- Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or an equivalent modern backend framework.
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with RESTful API design, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find effective solutions.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- A collaborative mindset—enjoys working closely with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Bonus Points for:
- Finnish language skills (intermediate to advanced).
- Experience in health tech or medical software development.
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
- DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR).
- Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, or Go as additional backend technologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Pytest, or Cypress.
